Taiwan with me!

We made it! Rain Dragon was a trooper on the 22+hour airplane ride(s) and customs didn't decline our entry even though we did brought 3 gigantic suitcases, a stroller and...well, let's just say that I'm not good at traveling "light" anymore.

However, the jetlag was a real challenge. The Sasquatch and Rain Dragon met their match with that. But the upside to being awake while everyone else is tired it that we were quite alert for the night market, even pocket pacy:

Does this look familiar to Dumpling Days readers?

I meant to take more photos but pocket pacy was so busy playing games:

she didn't win one!
and hanging out with souvenir friends:

that I forgot! And, eventually the night market became the goodnight market:

and it was time to get some sleep!

pocket Ling and Ting in Taiwan

Pocket Ling and Ting are now traveling the world! Why should Pocket Pacy have all the fun? Two readers (who received Pocket Ling and Ting at the birthday party) have been making Ling and Ting very happy. Pocket Ling and Ting were a little jealous that Pacy traveled to Taiwan in Dumpling Days,   but now they don't have to be! Because they are on a tour of Taiwan, themselves!

Here at the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall:

And Taipei 101:

And, of course, at the BEST dumpling restaurant in the world...with Tom Cruise:

Thanks so much, Wu girls! Pocket Ling and Ting are thrilled to have found a home with you!

Pisa, Peru, DC!

You may have remembered that during my trip to DC, I ran into an old friend at the Open Book school visit:

Well, this Pocket Pacy was a little faded so I gave her a bit of a touch up:

But she had good reason to be a little worn. This Pocket Pacy belongs to the bloggers of Dim Sum, Bagels and Crawfish (all the photos were taken from their blog) and, they have been taking their Pocket Pacy all around the world!

And Peru!

Make sure you click the links to see the other photos. Can I say I'm a bit jealous of this pocket pacy?  But I'm so glad I caught up with her in DC.

Happy Travels, Pocket Pacy! Happy Travels Dim Sum, Bagels and Crawfish bloggers!

family vacation!

This Pocket Pacy is having a fabulous time with the Wu family. They've brought Pocket Pacy south to Grand Mound WA for some water fun at Great Wolf lodge:

Then north to Rice Lake in North Vancouver (BC Canada) on a hike:

Then over the ocean to  Kihei Public Library and found my books in Maui, Hawaii:

And finally, into SPACE via a Star Wars X-Wing, accompanied by R2D2:

Ha! Doesn't that look fun?

Don't forget, you can win your own pocket pacy (as well as a chance to get your portrait painted by me) if you enter your photo in my Starry River giveaway! More details HERE!

It's a special edition Starry River of the Sky Pocket Pacy! One of the ones I made for my giveaway (and YOU can still win one, get your entry in for the 1st drawing on Saturday).  This one was a I gave to the Elephant's Trunk Bookstore for a special giveaway when a Starry River of the Sky came out.

The winners of this Pocket Pacy made a custom carrying case out of a Xylitol bottle to  carry her around. The case is decorated with a Starry River sticker!

Here she is at the Minuteman statue on Lexington common:

I hope she sees even more of the Boston sites! And I can't wait to see more Starry River of the Sky Pocket Pacys in the world!
